5. Tar-and-Chip
Akin to the asphalt option, but cheaper and a little less attractive, is the tar-and-chip solution to your paving requirements. It’s another quick option – one that relies simply on spreading gravel on your given surface, pouring on tar, and adding a further layer of gravel before rolling the results into a flat surface.
This is one of the cheapest types of tarring and pavement services on the market, so if you’re pressed for cash it’s a great option. However, it’s not something you’ll be necessarily showing off to your neighbours – it’s more of a practical solution than a visual one.
